Celebrating the International Day of Cocoa and Chocolate (which takes place annually on the 1st October), this unique event proved so successful the first year it was held that they have had to introduce a way of calming the chocolate mania that took place that first year, with long queues outside the participating shops. Things are much more organised nowadays, with a maximum number of 3,000 passports being issued to allow access into two different tours – either Path A, Path B or both! At each of the 12 participating boutiques, you get to taste a unique chocolate creation and find out a word of the contest’s mystery phrase which will allow you to enter into a prize draw.
On-line reservation of the passport has now closed, but fear not, 500 passports will be available to purchase on the day from 9am onwards at the Salle Communal in Plainpalais, 52 rue de Carouge, 1205 Genève. So you needn’t miss out on your chocolate fix!
