Have you found this hidden elevator to panoramic views of Geneva?

Any idea where we took this photo?
You may have walked past it without realizing. On Geneva’s Quai du Seujet, there’s a well-kept local secret: the “ascenseur panoramique”, an elevator that takes you to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Rhône river, the city, the Salève, and the distant Alps. And… it’s free!
Take the elevator to the 4th or 5th floor to step out on the terrace, camera ready. The terrace itself isn’t much to write home about… but it’s a unique viewpoint and will spice up your stroll along the Rhône.
In the foreground you’ll see the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, a former industrial building built in 1883 that’s now a venue for the performing arts and events.
