Interactions, an enthusiastic community who connect people from different cultural and social backgrounds, are hosting a beginners salsa class followed on by a potluck dinner this coming Thursday.
On the programme:
6.30pm-7.45pm – Beginners Salsa class with Magaly and Alexandre. They started salsa in 2013. They participated in two Geneva championships, demonstrations and performances. Alexandre meanwhile, in addition to taking courses at the advanced level, attended a school for 2 years. He then started doing private and group demonstrations and in July 2017 took part in the Rueda European Championships with his teacher where they finished in 6th place with the school Salsa style representing Switzerland. He perfected his style by participating in Rumba and Afrocuban festivals as well as in men’s style.
7.45pm-9.30pm – Potluck dinner, dance and world music. Bring something to share to eat and some music you love!
WHERE: Espace de Quartier des Eaux-Vives, 46 rue de Montchoisy, Genève.
WHEN: Thursday 15th March 2018 from 6.30pm onwards.
COST: By Donation (depending on your financial situation) suggested 20CHF, members 15CHF, reduced rate 10CHF, low budget 0-5CHF, funds go to support Interactions and the co-ordination of all its activities.
