With summer holiday plans melting away fast, we are happy to learn that Geneve Plage plans to open to the public on the 8th of June.
This welcome announcement follows the news that the newly constructed Eaux-Vives beach will remain closed during the summer of 2020. Read our earlier article about the Eaux-Vives Plage.
Geneve Plage, a popular hangout for locals and tourists alike, offering 2 hectares of green space along the lakeside, different sized pools and a variety of water activities, has announced plans to reopen on their website.
The online statement says they hope to reopen in line with the Swiss Federal Government’s guidelines, but that visitors should keep an eye on their website for updated information.
Opening hours are likely to be from 9am till 8.30pm in the evening until the 30th of August – with new early morning openings at 7am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
The Geneve Plage restaurant will open on May 16th, weather permitting, but the rest of the facilities remain closed until 8th of June.
