If you want to survive in a hostile environment, you’ve got to adapt. Golden Scars is the story of two young musicians in Cuba who use rap to go beyond their personal difficulties and the political and cultural context and live their dreams.
This documentary, showing at the MEG as part of the Groove n’ Move Festival, by Alexandrine Boudreault-Fournier (Canada, 2010) shows how two rappers channel their passions into this form of urban expression from across the sea.
