ON THURSDAY, JUNE 11, Geneva’s iconic Jet d’eau will be switched back on again, after being shut down since March 20 as a result of the lockdown.
The shutdown was meant to protect the workers who maintain the site and to support the authorities’ guidelines for social distancing.
The Geneva landmark will be turned on during an official ceremony with invitees to include World Health Organisation director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
