VEGGIE WEEK

Veggie Week returns to Geneva on the 4th-17th June 2018 – a gourmet vegetarian event that takes place at twelve of Geneva’s prominent gourmet restaurants – Le Domaine de Châteauvieux, le Loti, le Gusto, la Brasserie du Parc des Eaux-Vives, le Rasoi by Vineet, le Jardin, Le Living Room Bar & Kitchen, La Terrasse, Le Chat-Botté, l’Auberge d’Hermance, Le Tiffany and Le Woods.

INTERNATIONAL MOJITO FESTIVAL

To mark the beginning of summer, what better way than to celebrate with a cooling mojito (with or without alcohol) and dance the salsa, kizomba or bachata.

On 8th and 9th June 2018, Geneva is celebrating along with hundreds of other cities a the same time, the International Mojito Festival.

The programme is still in the planning stage, but in the meantime put the date in your diary!

FESTIBIÈRE DE GENÈVE

The “Festibière de Genève” is the hottest craft beer festival in French-speaking Switzerland and is back for a new 2018 edition!

• 25 brewers local breweries as well as a special guest

GLISS’EN VILLE

The summer event of the year returns on Saturday 16th June 2018 – so save the date as it’ll only be around for one day!

Get ready to launch yourself down the impressive 260 metre long water slide that runs along the rue de St. Jean – it will certainly cool you down, even on the hottest of days!

SWISS CAR EVENT

Petrol heads rejoice! The 2018 edition of the Swiss Car Event takes place in the halls of Palexpo on the 23rd and 24th of June 2018 with no fewer than 12,000 enthusiasts expected to come and feast their eyes on more than 1,200 car projects whilst enjoying dynamic entertainment and some major brand-new performances.

In addition to the numerous demonstrations, initiations, entertainment and performances, the 2018 edition of the Swiss Car Event will unveil some brand new, never seen before surprises! So don’t miss out on this thrilling weekend!

MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL

One of the best known jazz festivals in Europe, the Montreux Jazz Festival from 29th June until 14th July 2018 attracts a quarter of a million visitors each year. Although it’s a festival that celebrates jazz music, you’ll find other styles of music such as blues and rock also on the line-up.

FÊTE DE LA TOMATE

Are you a tomato addict? This three day festival running from the 6th-8th July 2018 will certainly satisfy your needs. You are in great company, as the Swiss consume over 7kg per person yearly!

There is something for everyone to enjoy – from daytime entertainment, a huge market of local producers allowing you to taste their products, cookery demonstrations, great food and drink, some fantastic evening concerts and yes, locally grown tomatoes of all shapes and sizes to try out.

STING AT THE FESTIVAL GUITARE EN SCENE

Sting returns to the Festival Guitare en Scene in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois on Sunday 22nd July 2018 after his first stint at the festival back in 2015.

FIVE HEALTHS FENG SHUI WORKSHOP

In-depth learning from a 38th generation Chinese medical expert at this Feng Shui workshop (totalling 20 hours) run by Chi Rivers, a private practice in Geneva that offers traditional Chinese medicine treatments.
