FROM THE 20th JANUARY TO THE 2nd FEBRUARY, the Café des Bains hosts Night-fall. This pop-up restaurant adjacent to the café in the arty Bains district opposite the MAMCO, coincides with the upcoming art salon artgeneve at Palexpo from the 31st January.
The pop-up venue was created by Philippe Cramer while the innovative menu, including unusual dishes such as an avocado and chocolate soufflé, is proposed by Thomas Hug, the director of artgeneve. The restaurant opens at 6pm.
The decoration is stunning – with two walls comprising gold foil – made from the same material as emergency blankets – and ghost murals – to create a Night-fall theme! It conjures up a world of fantasies, nightmares and dreams. We like!
Other artworks are displayed throughout the venue.
The concept is a real “After” artgeneve space and the venue is divided in half – with a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other.
Space is limited, so book your table in advance.
A 3-course menu costs CHF69.
