Get ready to tickle your taste buds with new culinary discoveries at the World Food Festival in Carouge, where you’ll find foodies, gourmands, creative chefs and food trucks offering delights from India to Greece and Vietnam to Brazil.
WHAT IS THE WORLD FOOD FESTIVAL?
The World Food Festival is a Swiss festival running in over 31 locations throughout the country from March to October. This year will be first time the World Food Festival makes a stop in Geneva, with over 25 stands or trucks offering to expand your culinary horizons with their freshly prepared dishes.
The festival’s motto is: “Try different food from around the World” and you are encouraged to try as many dishes as possible, made easier by the introduction of a tasting portion pass.
THE TASTING PORTION PASS
The food vendors will all offer small tasting portions costing a maximum of 7CHF per portion.
You buy a tasting portion pass for 18CHF. The pass is charged with 21CHF worth of credit, which can be used at any of the food trucks or stands, allowing you to try several portions from around the world!
WHERE CAN I BUY THE PASS?
You can buy your pass directly at the festival or online in advance: https://www.wff-shop.ch/français/shop/.
