BACCO IN THE OLD TOWN, GENEVA
BACCO features carefully designed dishes, prepared with passion, good taste and immense creativity. Located in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town district, this nouvelle cuisine restaurant offers exquisite dishes to be shared, allowing patrons to experience a unique culinary journey. Service is extremely polite, young and dynamic, complementing a chic and modern atmosphere.
FRESH FROM THE FIELD
Lunch options are also available, and as service is quick and efficient: in just 40 minutes, you can be on your way back to work. The plat du jour (dish of the day) is CHF 25 – a fair price, considering the freshness of the produce and the long hours dedicated to preparing each dish.
DINNER
For dinner, BACCO boasts a selection of starters and its Manufacture, a list of the restaurant’s main dishes. We had the pleasure of trying the Smoked Burrata with olive oil (CHF 16) and Salmon Tataki (CHF 15), which were both delicious, but we really loved the Quince Aïoli (CHF 12), Hummus with grilled sesame oil and Yuzu Bark (CHF 13), Maïs Nachos (CHF 11), Tuna Sashimi (CHF 16), Ham with truffle and Cecina from Léon IGP Reserva (CHF 17), and Sardines with feta and peppers (CHF 16).
The Manufacture selection invites you to try more elaborated warm dishes, within a price range of CHF 22 to CHF 28. Our advice is to take a total amount of three dishes per person: two starters, and one main dish from the Manufacture selection.
OUR VERDICT
BACCO is definitely one of Geneva’s must-try restaurants. We highly recommend it for their culinary excellence, charming service and central location – three elements that come together to provide an unforgettable experience. Reserving in advance is advised.
