COFFEE, CAKES, AND PLAY – Elisa Gassert
If you’re looking for a place to take your child to burn some energy on a cloudy day, this is worth checking out.
Elisa Gassert started as a shop for adorable baby and children’s furniture. As of 2019 Elisa, the owner, has opened the space to families for play time. It is a cozy area for your next play date with a friend. There’s a child play area and separate breastfeeding area in a playhouse with a rocking chair and breastfeeding cushions. Sounds like the perfect place to feed in private, if you prefer. A change table and highchairs are also available to use. Coffee and local pastries are on sale. Bonus, they have stroller parking!
The play area sounds like super fun for creative play. In addition to a play kitchenette and grocery store, there are small houses for the children to explore. The children can also enjoy the variety of puzzles and books available.

THEATRE IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME – Zig Zag Zoug
This community theatre group is always on my list because it’s an affordable option to provide some French-speaking activities to a native English-speaking household. I was disappointed to find that there are no live shows scheduled for this school year presumably due to the coronavirus. However, you can find their past performances online for viewing at home. See the link below to view the video selection. There are quite a few options for a variety of childhood classics!
