ON SATURDAY, 28th SEPTEMBER don’t miss the colourful, traditional Festival Désalpe in St Cergue near Geneva. This very Swiss festival celebrates the end of the Alpine summer pasture season and entails a colourfully decorated parade of cows, goats and pigs through the valley to the sound of bells and alphorns. Swiss food stands, music and a very festive atmosphere makes this a great day out for the family.
