OCTOBER, 2020 The Chateau de Prangins has just launched a new permanent exhibition designed around the idea of role-playing and geared to younger visitors. It aims to help them see museums in a different light challenging the common perception that museums are boring, dusty, serious places. There are two areas: one for 4 to 10-year-old children and one for children aged 11 and older.
This exhibition puts the visitor centre stage and immerses them in the experience of different eras – the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. At each stage the visitor will be surrounded by authentic pieces and there will be a variety of different items for children to interact with.
The exhibition is in four languages (French, English, German and Italian).
