FOR THE FOODIE MUM
BRUNCH EN FAMILLE…
A children’s menu is available and to there is now a more spacious and supervised playroom with a baby gym and rocking animals, as well as giant games and creative activities for the older ones.
If the weather is nice, the large outdoor terrace offers fabulous views over Lake Geneva and access to the park.
WHEN: Sunday from noon to 3pm.

FOR THE EARTH MOTHER
Treat Mum to a delicious brunch at Le Café des Jardins of the Jardin d’Iris. Their new group of chefs will prepare delicious dishes using the freshest ingredients – sweet and savoury breakfast items, a salad bar, desserts and freshly barbecued meats, while you sit back and soak up the atmosphere on the outdoor terrace under the shade of the trees. Two services are available: from 10.30am-12.30pm or 1pm-3pm. Bookings are required in advance by telephone or email (in English).

FOR THE GLAMOUR PUSS
For starters, there’s the help-yourself buffet – we loved the Caesar salads in cute little jars, the mini sushi platters, gyozas and the most heavenly foccacia bread with truffle cream. Main courses are a choice of fresh sea bass, Black Angus filet of beef, spatchcock chicken or their Baroque burger. And if there’s still room for dessert, you’re spoilt for choice – white chocolate cheesecake, raspberry or chocolate tart, panacotta, fruit skewers, cookies.
Starting at noon, the party continues with champagne, cocktails, entertainment and live music.

CGN MOTHER’S DAY CRUISE
Invite mum for a cruise and a delicious meal on Lake Geneva. The menu includes Salmon en Gravlax starter, followed by Filet de Canette in a honey and peppery rose sauce and served on a bed of baby onions and baby potatoes. Dessert is chocolate truffles in a vanilla cream sauce.

A STROLL IN THE LAVAUX VINEYARDS

TULIP EYE CANDY
The impressive annual Tulip Festival takes place every Spring on the lakeside Parc de l’Indépendence in Morges. The free festival lasts five weeks and presents more than 120,000 tulips of 300 different varieties, showing off the flower’s huge range of shapes and colours.
