FROM AUGUST 17 to SEPTEMBER 2nd, Megève will host the first Megève Festival Savoy Truffle, a new high-end multidisciplinary festival lasting 17 days, with international artists highlighting the Savoy region and its cultural heritage.
With around 70 events of classical music, jazz and pop, films, literature, debates and children’s theatre performed by both internationally renowned and regional artists, the festival offers a wide variety of disciplines and artistic programs.
Stars include: Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Renaud Capuçon, Jennifer Larmore, Xavier de Maistre, Alain Carre, Sylvain Saudan, Uri Caine, the string quartets Arditti, Ebène and Szymanowski as well as Les Musicians du Louvre, l’Orchestre Symphonique des Alpes, the Orchestra des pays de Savoie and the Orchestra d ́Accordéons de Savoie.

The performances will take place at the Palais des Sports, at St John Baptist Church in Megève or on the church square with prices ranging from 18 to 50 € for the main events.
The festival will also offer theatre and other artistic activities for children aged 5 and over. Parents can either attend them with their offspring or leave their children under the festival staff”s supervision and visit the main event.
