FROM 12 to 22 SEPTEMBER it’s the so-called ‘tasting week’ in Switzerland, including Geneva – which aims to promote local and seasonal products through participating restaurants and special workshops.
In Geneva these restaurants promise to include as many local and seasonal products – clearly labelled as “Semaine du Goût” on their menus. They also undertake to be transparent about where products come from and promise to be original and creative in the preparation of the proposed dishes.
