A NEW LOOK TO MARK A NEW PHASE
After two years of blood, sweat, many tears and countless late nights in front of the screen fuelled by chai tea, we are finally ready to enter the next phase of THINGS TO DO IN GENEVA.
Our mission is to celebrate this wonderful city and to help English speakers discover the unusual, interesting and unexpected things that bring the city to life.
This has not changed! What has changed is that we have grown up from a personal blog into a fast-growing professional online magazine offering readers and advertisers amazing new opportunities, without sacrificing our personal writing style or independent spirit!
We have built a community of supporters on our Facebook group and our Instagram and Facebook accounts are growing weekly.
Our page views are at a record high as more and more people rely on our site as a guide to discovering the city.
We are official partners of Geneva Tourism and Ville de Geneve, for whom we have recently started producing their monthly English newsletter about all the exciting cultural events they sponsor in the city.
NEW LOGO
Our new logo is colourful, vibrant and warm and reflects the sense of excitement we feel about Geneva, the richness of its history and culture contrasted with the explosive energy and creativity evident in all the new start-ups and fresh initiatives, both by locals and expats.
NEW WEBSITE
We have worked hard to improve the overall layout, accessibility and navigation of the site with a modern mobile responsive theme used by online magazines around the world. We hope to create a better experience, making it easier to find posts that interest you in every category.
We are also introducing new advertising opportunities on every page – offering our stamp of approval to companies we think our audience will love. We enter into partnerships to offer discounts and offers to readers that we think they’ll enjoy.
Our content will continue to be well researched, well written, fresh, personal and engaging.
OUR JOURNEY
Despite all the hard work this has been an incredibly rewarding journey. We have met countless inspiring people, had the most amazing food and wine, discovered so many interesting places – and do not cease to be amazed by the generosity of people who offer their time, support, wisdom, friendship and encouragement.
The team has evolved to a core group of committed and passionate writers, journalists and digital experts and we’ve had invaluable input from many more along the way. Thank you to each one of you!
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to you, our readers, for your loyalty and encouragement, for sharing the word about our site and for making all those lonely nights more than worthwhile.
