FROM THURSDAY THE 17th OF MAY an exciting new exhibition opens at the MEG (Museum of Ethnography) in Geneva focusing on – The life and times of fairy tales: La Fabrique des Contes
The exhibition explores the magical universe of the fairy tales we know so well and which forms part of our cultural heritage, regardless of where we are from. The expo is designed as a sensory experience that takes you to the heart of 8 stories, reimagined through mirrors, dioramas and optical illusions.
We will be attending the opening and reviewing this shortly.
The opening night is on Thursday, 16th of May.
From the 17th of May until the 5th of January. Tuesday to Sunday 11am-6pm.
The opening night is on Thursday, the 16th of May from 16h30, followed by an official opening, an apéro and music provided by a DJ in the MEG garden.
FREE entry – and on the Thursday night, the museum will exceptionally stay open until 10pm.

Le Salon du Design returns for a third edition at Pavillon Sicli. Founded in 2017, Le Salon du Design is one of the most beautiful design fairs in Europe focusing on quality rather than quantity and featuring 32 designers selected from galleries, shop owners and online shops.
This 3rd edition will reveal 100 years of design history through the eras and styles where you will find designs from many countries including Finland, Switzerland, Italy and France.
Visitors will discover unique collections of French post-war ceramics, an atelier dedicated to Charles & Ray Eames and their famous fiberglass shells, rare early examples by Pierre Paulin, furniture from Mauritania and Les Arcs by Charlotte Perriand, hard to find prints by Ettore Sottsass, and an exhibition where to buy the most iconic productions of Swiss design.

The Geneva Peace Week will feature over 70 events (panels, exhibitions, workshops, networking events, etc.) hosted by more than 100 organisations across Geneva and the world.
All events are free, although for events at the UN advance registration is required.
There will be a variety of topics ranging from intergenerational talks on water and peace, to a workshop about the role of religious actors in peace building.
