
La Comédie de Genève and Château Rouge-Annemasse team up for an exceptional and ambitious two-day artistic event in nine stations as well as on the routes that connect them. Thanks to a multidisciplinary programme, this cross-border cooperative effort will enable you to playfully discover the route of the Leman Express train and the speed with which it will connect its newly-designed stations.
On the Swiss side, Lancy-Pont-Rouge, Genève-Champel, Eaux-Vives and Chêne-Bourg stations will be under the spotlight, featuring artists and performances in the public space, while La Roche-sur-Foron, Thonon-les-bains, Bonneville, Bellegarde and Annemasse stations in France will guarantee you an extraordinary welcome!
Whatever your age, come and enjoy the party, discover the Leman Express train as well as artistic events showcasing music, dance, theatre, virtual reality, circus events, installations, performances, games, moments of conviviality and numerous participatory activities!

A weekend of information and fun for young and future families. Information stands, activities for adults and children, workshops, stories… All with the cross-cutting themes of community, diversity and environmental responsibility.
There will be food stands, but picnics are welcome. A “garderie” (payment by donation) will allow parents to visit the stands and attend presentations while their children play.
The entire event will be no-smoking so that you and your children can breathe easy!

Every second person in Switzerland will suffer from a mental illness at some point in their life.
The “ensa” Mental Health First Aid program is internationally recognized. Participants acquire basic First Aid knowledge so as to support relatives, friends or work colleagues in the event of psychological problems. Instead of waiting for someone else to deal with the issue – often much too late – course participants learn to recognize problems in time, approach people and offer help. In this scientifically based course participants acquire knowledge and learn to detect signs of mental health distress in 7, 2-hour online modules (14 hours).

Saint François d’Assise, a work of awe-inspiring ambitions and proportions, will be staged by world-famous French contemporary visual artist, Adel Abdessemed. This first performance in Switzerland of Messiaen’s only opera will be conducted by Jonathan Nott, musical and artistic director of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.

Collagraph printmaking is a process by which materials are applied and glued to, as well as scratched in, a surface creating various textures which is then inked, and a print taken.
Learn how to create experimental intaglio prints through an introduction to Collagraph printmaking. This card-based process is used to create rich surface textures and a deep velvet tone. The workshop will use an etching press to explore the creative possibilities of this process using both monochrome and colour techniques.

Teaching method(s)
The workshop will commence with an introduction to the printmaking technique of collagraph. This will be followed by a practical workshop commencing with technical demonstrations followed by an intensive workshop experience, as follows:
○ demonstration of how to create a collagraph image using a scalpel and other intaglio tools on card
○ demonstration of the inking and wiping of a collagraph plate in readiness for printmaking. This will include a demonstration of ‘a la poupée’ technique plus the use of paper stencils
○ demonstration of how to “pull” a print using paper and a printing press
○ participants will then proceed to produce their own collagraph(s)
