For its 30th edition in Geneva, Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) makes the biggest change in its history. With a new format, new name, new dates and new audiences, SIHH becomes Watches & Wonders Geneva, an event in two parts: The exclusive Salon is the place for professionals, media and special guests of the exhibiting maisons. New for the public, “In the City” transforms the centre of Geneva into a week-long discovery of the many facets of watchmaking excellence.

The exhibition is dedicated to the works of the most prolific member of the “Boissonnas dynasty”, Fred Boissonnas (1858 – 1946). It sheds light on a whole aspect of his career that is both underappreciated and crucial: his journeys on the Mediterranean Sea, which he spent the first three decades of the 20th century roaming in search of light, of the Great Greece and free Egypt, of Homeric settings and Biblical landscapes.
Most of his photographs, presented here for the first time, are part of bequeathed collections now owned by the Bibliothèque de Genève. Both poetic and mesmerising, this exhibition also attempts to provide insight into the ambivalent and passionate relationship between Europe and the Mediterranean.

Once a month, from 11:00 am to 13:00 pm, we host drop-in sessions at the Mr Pickwick Pub.
If you’ve watched Whose Line Is It Anyway or seen the Renegade Saints perform and thought, that looks like fun, here’s your chance to join in. It’s barmy, it’s silly and you’ll love it. These sessions are good for anyone, whether you’re looking to laugh off the stress of the week, get a little more self-confidence, or work on some performing skills towards that acting career you’ve always dreamed of.
We’ll do a variety of improv exercises and play a number of games, guaranteed to make you crack a smile. Come along and improvise with us. All levels of experience are welcome! It’s a fantastic way to try improv to see if you enjoy it.
There’s no charge (though any contributions at the end are always welcome). However, places are limited so please sign up here to register.
