FROM 8 FEBRUARY UNTIL 18 MAY there will be an art exposition entitled «Borders of all kinds» at the University of Geneva exposition hall, which focuses on the construction of identities through borders and shows how borders, by partitioning space, differentiate and often oppose the groups concerned.
The exhibition features two main types of borders: those that separate the public from the private (gender borders) and those that organise the world into nations (interstate borders). Through a wide variety of visual documents, it shows various forms of social and spatial partitioning.
