Interested to hear how a family of 4 reduced their waste from 390 kg to just 1 kg per year? Become inspired by Jeremie Pichon, who’ll share the enormous and unexpected benefits derived from this major change. ON SATURDAY, THE 8th OF DECEMBER Pichon, author of the book Famille (presque) Zero Dechet – Family (almost) Zero Waste will host a workshop organised by Zero Waste Geneva and will explain why his family embarked on this ‘adventure.’
NOTE: The conference will be in French, but will also offer you the opportunity to find out more about the Zero Waste Association Switzerland, who offers workshops in English from time to time. Not only will the information be useful, but you’ll get to practise your French!
We asked Jérémie for hist best tips for reducing waste:
Zero waste is NOT more recycling – it is consuming less and better!
*Refuse: things you don’t need.
*Reduce: ask yourself “do I really need this?”
*Reuse & Repair: Fix it rather than toss it. And use reusable options for your throw away habits (bulk bags, jars etc.) I
The conference will be 1h30 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer session.
COST: Free for members of Zero Waste Switzerland and CHF10 for non-members.
