
Pace Gallery is thrilled to present its third exhibition of works by Nathalie Du Pasquier at 15–17 Quai des Bergues in Geneva. On view from 20th January to 6th March 2020, the exhibition will feature over thirty recent works. Following an initial presentation at Pace Gallery in Seoul in 2018, ‘the strange order of things 2’ will continue the artist’s exploration of themes of colour, shape, and space.

Established in 2016, Monada is a Geneva-based team that organises monthly fashion and art shows to help Swiss designers and artists to promote their talent. The events take place at different locations of the city and offer a very creative and unique concept. The theme of the next event is ‘Be Original. Be Unique’.

Arguably one of the most picturesque city marathons in Europe! Register Now!
The 16th edition of the Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef takes place on 9th & 10th May 2020. In 2019, more than 138 global destinations signed up for one of the eight events and discovered the course in the countryside nestled between mountains and the shore of Lake Geneva before finishing in the heart of the city in front of the famous Jet d’Eau.
With eight races on the programme and distances ranging from 1km to a full marathon, you will find a distance that suits you to be part of this festival of running.
The Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half-Marathon and Wheelchair race will be held on Sunday 10th May. Runners will stream through the countryside, following a route renowned for its beauty, nestled between the shores of lake Geneva and snow-capped peaks of the Alps and Jura mountains. The closing stretch takes participants through the heart of Geneva before crossing the finish line on the Pont du Mont-Blanc, with a stunning view of the famous Jet d’Eau in the distance.
On Saturday 9th May, a number of other race formats will be available for both juniors and adults. These include the 10km open to runners and walkers, La Genevoise #LikeAGirl by Always 6km race for women and the Junior Races.

Collagraph printmaking is a process by which materials are applied and glued to, as well as scratched in, a surface creating various textures which is then inked, and a print taken.
Learn how to create experimental intaglio prints through an introduction to Collagraph printmaking. This card-based process is used to create rich surface textures and a deep velvet tone. The workshop will use an etching press to explore the creative possibilities of this process using both monochrome and colour techniques.

Teaching method(s)
The workshop will commence with an introduction to the printmaking technique of collagraph. This will be followed by a practical workshop commencing with technical demonstrations followed by an intensive workshop experience, as follows:
○ demonstration of how to create a collagraph image using a scalpel and other intaglio tools on card
○ demonstration of the inking and wiping of a collagraph plate in readiness for printmaking. This will include a demonstration of ‘a la poupée’ technique plus the use of paper stencils
○ demonstration of how to “pull” a print using paper and a printing press
○ participants will then proceed to produce their own collagraph(s)
